Starting the road

We congratulate Mateo Peralta, a Nacional player and member of the Unique Talents Group, for his call-up to the Uruguay under 17 team.

Peralta was first called to training at the Uruguay Training Camp along with 25 other players from the category and was later confirmed among the 18 who will represent the country in the friendlies to be played in Japan next June. The squad is under the orders of the coaching staff commanded by Diego Demarco.

The Yurtec Stadium will be the home of the three games: the first will be against Mexico on June 8 at 3:00 p.m., then they will face the local team on June 10 at 6:00 p.m. and will close against South Korea at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday June 12.

It will be an interesting test for the Celestes to measure themselves against important rivals, just as they did in mid-May in two clashes with their counterpart from Paraguay.
