Lucia Cufré, Defensor Sporting player, participated in Uruguay’s 4-1 win against Argentina.

The right back defender is part of the team that leads, together with Nacional, the Women’s Clausura Championship with a perfect score.

The 20-year-old Uruguayan right-back already played for the U-20 team last year, when she impressed with a very good performance against Brazil.

Lucia Cufre will not be participating in the Copa Libertadores with the violet club, since she was called up with the national team to play the Odesur Games this coming October.

Despite being right-footed, she handles her left foot very well, can play in both sides of the defense, has a powerful shot and positions herself well on the pitch.
