The U-17 Uruguay squad became champion on the Tristán Suárez court after beating Argentina in the last match.

A very difficult win against Ecuador 3-2 and a goalless draw against Peru, allowed the Celestes to arrive with championship chances to the last day of the tournament in which they beat the Albicelestes 3-1.

Mateo Peralta, a 16-year-old midfielder, member of UTG, started in both victories wearing the number 10 shirt. In the game against the Incas, he entered during the second half.
